ABOUT POVERTY MINDSET
A Revolutionary Approach to Ending Poverty...FOREVER!
Despite the billions of dollars spent on government programs and charitable organizations to end poverty via education, economic and job programs, many families are making no headway. Some are actually worse off than before.
Why?
Maybe we are going about this all wrong. Maybe the problem starts with how we define poverty in the first place.
Maybe “True Poverty” is NOT just an amount of money (or even a lack of resources), but a condition sustained over time as a result of the way a person thinks and responds.
What if we reframed our understanding of poverty; and addressed it instead, as a MINDSET?
By doing so, we can shift our solutions from simply offering resources and opportunity (which has proven NOT to work) to helping people better utilize resources/ opportunity.
This approach:
-
Saves money- less government financial assistance is needed.
-
Increases viable workforce- people will become more productive citizens
(employees and entrepreneurs). -
Improves sustainability- people will become more self-sufficient and
teach this mindset to their children.
In short, we can help people…help themselves!
This is the work we are doing at the Poverty Mindset Research Institute.
